Last night I returned to Over The Moon Farmstead in Pittsfield, NH to photograph the talented Emily Jayne, Not only does she play the mandolin but she sang for three hours straight. Impressive! Her choice in setlist was fantastic too. She played some classic rock, current music and my personal favorite, 90s. Emily was accompanied by Mike Freeman of the Free Will band. The two of them together is fascinating and fun because she’s on the mandolin and he plays the box drums. That’s is not a combination you find very often. Emily’s husband (also named Mike) joined in for a few songs on the tambourine. Boy did he get into it!
